 Euphoria, the inter-branch fest hosted by Lucknow Public School’s Ansal Branch, brought together 10 branches in a vibrant showcase of talent and creativity. The Pragtai Puram branch, Raebareli, participated with enthusiasm and skill, standing out among all other branches to secure the first position. Students from Pragtai Puram excelled in a variety of competitions, including the captivating Character Parade, eloquent English and Hindi Elocution, and hands-on activities like Clay Modelling and Origami. Their teamwork shone through in the Advertisement Campaign, while their technological skills were highlighted in the Scratch Game Jam and Web Page Designing competitions. This remarkable performance by Pragtai Puram fostered a spirit of camaraderie and pride, making Euphoria 2024 a memorable and triumphant experience. 

 To instill the values of hard work and determination among students, Lucknow Public School organized an Inter-House Table Tennis Competition for classes III to V on 16th October. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, each eager to showcase their skills and teamwork. After a brief warm-up session, the competition kicked off with players diving straight into intense matches. Each game was marked by focus, agility, and strategic play, reflecting the students' dedication to the sport. The players demonstrated impressive skills, showing not only a commitment to personal excellence but also the spirit of sportsmanship as they competed to earn points for their houses. The event concluded with an awards ceremony, recognizing the outstanding players and their contributions to their respective houses. The tournament successfully highlighted the importance of discipline, determination, and perseverance, leaving the young athletes motivated to continue honing their skills. 

 Lucknow Public School Pragatipuram celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September 2024, with great enthusiasm, honoring the role of teachers. The event, dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, featured an assembly where students from Nursery to Class 5 expressed their gratitude through speeches, poems, and songs. Students organized performances like mimicry and dances, even impersonating their favorite teachers, adding humor and joy. They also presented handmade cards and flowers. The highlight was the “Teacher Awards,” with titles like "Most Inspiring Teacher." The day ended with the Principal’s address and fun activities for teachers, creating a memorable celebration. 

 Lucknow Public School, Pragatipuram and Ahiyaraipur, celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great fervor on August 15, 2024. The day commenced with the dignified hoisting of the national flag, setting the tone for a patriotic and memorable celebration.

The cultural program was the highlight, showcasing India's rich cultural diversity through a mesmerizing array of performances. Students presented soulful patriotic songs, vibrant folk dances, and thought-provoking skits, depicting the nation's struggle for freedom and its achievements since independence.

The students' enthusiasm and energy were infectious, filling the audience with pride and joy. The celebration concluded with an inspiring speech by the principal, emphasizing the significance of independence and the responsibilities that come with it. The students were encouraged to strive for excellence and contribute to the nation's growth and development.

The event was a resounding success, instilling a sense of patriotism and national pride in the hearts of everyone present. 

 On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan our tiny tots have learnt the values of relations and importance of sharing and giving which ultimately strengthens the bond of love between brother and sister.
Today our Pre -Primary classes celebrated Rakshabandhan in a very vigorously manner where kids are dressed  in ethnic wear and given essential goodies and sweets as a part of Rakshabandhan Celebration ,to make them understand the importance of sharing and giving to each other so that they can grow up into a caring individual. Story is also told to kids to know the mythological background of this festival . It was a memorable and beautiful moment for all of us, everyone felt the spirit of Rakshabandhan. 

 Our Pre-nursery, Nursery and K. G. class students recently took part in a delightful Rakhi  Making / Decoration Activity. The little ones used crayons,colorful stones, mirrors and other decorative materials to create their own beautiful Rakhis. This hands-on activity not only allowed the children to showcase their creativity but also helped them learn about the tradition and significance of Raksha Bandhan. It was a joyful and engaging experience that brought out the artistic talents of our young learners. 

 Lucknow Public School, Pragatipuram, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm on August 17, 2024. Students of Classes 3, 4, and 5 participated in traditional activities, strengthening the bond of brotherhood and sisterhood. Boys of Classes 3, 4, and 5 showcased their creativity by making beautiful cards for their sisters, expressing their love and gratitude. The cards were adorned with colorful designs, stickers, and heartfelt messages. Girls of the same classes demonstrated their artistic skills by making intricate Rakhis, using threads, beads, and other decorative materials. They eagerly awaited the moment to tie their creations on their brothers' wrists, symbolizing protection and affection. The celebration was filled with laughter, excitement, and a sense of togetherness. Students learned about the significance of Raksha Bandhan and the importance of sibling relationships.The school's festive atmosphere was filled with joy, love, and a renewed sense of brother-sister bonding. 

 On National Librarian Day, August 12, 2024, our Class 1 and 2 students enjoyed a fun-filled dot-to-dot puzzle-solving activity. They connected dots to reveal a picture and filled colours also.This engaging activity developed their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. Students showcased their artistic talents. The activity celebrated the joy of learning and creativity, introducing young minds to the world of reading and libraries. It was a delightful way to mark National Librarian Day, fostering a love for books and learning." 

 On National Librarian Day, August 12, 2024, Class 5 students of LPS , Pragatipuram brought the story 'Door and Mirror' from Champak magazine to life through a captivating role play. The tale of a talking door and mirror, who learn to appreciate each other's unique qualities, was enacted with enthusiasm and expression. Students showcased their creativity and teamwork, taking on the roles of the door, mirror, and narrator. The performance highlighted the importance of self-acceptance and valuing others' strengths. The role play was a testament to the power of storytelling and the impact of literature on young minds. It was a fitting tribute to the occasion, celebrating the joy of reading and the role of librarians in nurturing a love for stories. 

 The Inter-House Chess Competition for classes 3 to 5  was held on 31/07/24 with great enthusiasm. Four houses  Bharat, Dhruv, Eklavya and Karan battled it out on the chessboard. Students showcased their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. The event encouraged critical thinking, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among participants. Congratulations to the winners and all participants for their excellent display of chess skills! 

 Green day was celebrated to recognize and identify the colour Green, understand the importance of Van mahotsav, develop fine motor skills as well as gross motor skills through different activities and encourage social interaction. Today, our pre-primary class celebrated Van mahotsava enthusiastically.The children explored Green colour through art and different activities. They pasted flowers in the pot to explore their creative side, plucked the leaves and balanced the balloon which aims to develop their hand and eye coordination and enjoyed green fruits and vegetables etc. The celebration helped our young learners develop their colour recognition, hand-eye coordination, and social skills. It was a bright and cheerful day that brought joy to all!" 

 This activity was organized to develop gross motor skills, improve balance , strengthen muscles and encourage social interaction. Today our Pre nursery class enjoyed Bunny Hop activity which improves motor planning , balance , muscle development , coordination and improves bone density. Children enjoyed this activity by picking up carrots and making them reach their destination by hopping all the way. This activity boosts up their energy and makes a cheerful day! 

 To recognize and identify the color yellow, develop fine motor skills as well as gross motor skills through different activities and encourage social interaction. Today, our pre-primary class celebrated Yellow Day! The children explored the yellow colour in the play-way method. They played games such as 'break the glass' which developed their gross motor skills, pasted yellow rays to the sun to explore their creativity , and enjoyed yellow fruits etc. The celebration helped our young learners develop their color recognition, hand-eye coordination, and social skills. It was a bright and cheerful day that brought joy to all!" 

 What is the first thing that comes to mind when someone asks you to name a noun?  Many students across the country may not immediately think of a person, place, or thing. They might struggle to come up with a noun.  As teachers, we need to find activities that capture our students' attention and interest them into learning about nouns and other parts of speech. Teaching Grammar can be a lot of fun with the right resources. 'Noun Hunt' activity which was organized for class 1C to introduce them to the concept of nouns. As a part of this activity students paste cards or real objects of animals, things, places and people to identify the four categories of nouns.
Common and Proper Noun Hunt Activity-
In this activity students were randomly pick one ice-cream stick, identify the type of noun as common and proper noun and put it in the correct pocket of the noun.Through this activity students learned to identify Common and Proper nouns. Children thoroughly enjoyed this activity as it was learning through fun. 

 🌳VAN MAHOTSAV🌳 "WHERE TREES AND HOPE BLOSSOM TOGETHER.”  

 Van Mahotsav week was celebrated from 1st July to 6th July with full enthusiasm at Lucknow Public School, Pragatipuram to promote environmental awareness among students as well as the parents.

Different events were organised for Classes Nursery to V. Plantation Drive was the main focus of this event. Students and teachers participated in this tree planting drive and distributed the saplings in the neighbourhood areas of the school. The celebration included different activities like Green Day celebration, Fancy dress, Poster making-Card making, Poem Recitation, Card making, Slogan writing etc were held on the environmental themes that encouraged creativity and awareness among the students. The event fosters a sense of responsibility towards nature among students, inspiring them to contribute to a greener planet. Van Mahotsav at our school is a step towards nurturing a love for nature and promoting ecological balance.

Lucknow Public School celebrated World Earth Day on 22 April,2024 with great enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental conservation. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire students to take an action to protect the planet. The day started by conducting the special assembly on World Earth Day. World Earth Day was celebrated with an array of engaging activities, including a unique “Best Out of Waste” project focusing on creating wind chimes from newspapers for the students of classes 3 to 5. The event aimed to promote environmental consciousness and encourage sustainable practices among students. This activity reinforced the significance of collective action in preserving the planet for generations to come. All the students participated with great

Raising awareness about physical health and mental well being and various measures of combat global health challenges Lucknow public School pragatipuram Raebareli celebrated World Health day on 7th April 2024.
The students of classes 3rd 5th enthusiastically participated in different activities and competition and shared awareness message. Students of class 3rd made beautiful fruits and vegetables by using clay. Fruit salad making activity was conducted for the students of class 4th. Poster making activity on the theme 'say no to junk food'was conducted for the students of class 5th. Inter house competitions were also conducted for the classes of 3rd to 5th  Collage making competition theme eat healthy and stay fit, Soft Board decoration competition and Digital table calendar designing theme eat well and stay fit.The significance of the activities to maintain good health day wise making the word appear and health year place to live in. The celebration full field it's objective of developing a deep understanding of the essential link between individual and collective help for a sustainable life.

On 31ST MARCH, 2024, an Orientation Programme was organized for the parents of Pre-Nursery y to familiarize our new parents with the rules, regulations and systems followed in Lucknow Public School, at the Foundational Stage. Parents were welcomed to the LPS family by the teachers. Our Principal, Ms. Shubhangini Pathak, in her address, highlighted the crucial roles of parents in shaping the destiny of students. Parents were introduced to the New Education Policy, Curriculum, the assessment pattern ,method that is adopted for teaching-learning in the Foundational Stage. They were taken on a virtual tour of the school through a power point presentation and briefed about the colourful and innovative activities undertaken in the Pre-Primary wing. It was a great first step towards building a long-lasting relationship between the parents and the school in years to come.
