Magic is a performing art that entertains the audience through seemingly impossible feats conducted by the use of tricks, illusions, sleight of hand, and well practised moves. Since times immemorial, magic has been a source of curiosity and fascination for children. There was a Magic Show organized for the students of Grades I to V. The magician, Mr. Sikandar, performed several tricks which left the children astonished and mesmerized. He called up a few children and performed astounding tricks with them. The entire area sprang up with the cheers and laughter. The students were also given tips on how to play some simple tricks.
The Diwali celebrations at school often mean a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning the class. The students of Lucknow Public School celebrated the festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm.
To mark the occasion, an assembly was organised on 10th November 2023 by the students of classes III to V. It started with a solemn prayer to the almighty and a beautiful thought that filled our hearts and minds with love and harmony. The students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. They also shared the guidelines of environment-friendly options for celebrating Diwali. Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness. The students of class III to V continued the Diwali celebration with various Inter house competitions .The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
हिंन्दी सप्ताह के कार्यक्रमों की श्रृंखला के अंतर्गत दिवस ११ - ०९ - २०२३ को कक्षा ३ 'अ' के विद्यार्थियों ने विशेष प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया जिसके द्वारा हिंदी भाषा को शिक्षित वर्ग द्वारा उपेक्षत किये जाने पर बल दिया और यह सन्देश समस्त जन तक फैलाने का प्रयास सफलता पूर्वक नुक्कड़ नाटक द्वारा किया । हिंदी भाषा सिर्फ बोल चाल की ही भाषा नहीं है अपितु यह दिल से दिल तक पहुंचने वाला वह बंधन है जो हमें विविध संस्कृतियों और संप्रदाय में होने के बावजूद एक - दूसरे से जोड़े रखता है। अनेकता में एकता का सामंजस्य केवल हिंदी भाषा के माध्यम से ही संभव हैं। इसी के साथ टेढ़े-मेढ़े उच्चारण के गांव में विचरण : उच्चारण कौशल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कक्षा ३ से ५ के विद्यार्थियों के लिए शिक्षकों द्वारा संचालित किया गया। साथ ही एक पहेली, सदा नवेली: बूझो तो जाने प्रतियोगिता में कक्षा १ एवं २ के छात्रों ने सम्पूर्ण उत्साह से ओत-प्रोत होकर भागीदारी दिखाई। हिंदी के प्रति बच्चों ने अपना प्रेम और अपनत्व कुछ इस प्रकार प्रकशित किया जैसे सुमित्रानंदन पंत जी ने अपने शब्दों में उल्लेखित किया है:

दिनांक- 08-09-2023 हिंन्दी सप्ताह के कार्यक्रम को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिन की शुरूआत कक्षा चार के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा विशेष प्रार्थना सभा से की गयी। क्रियाकलाप के अंतर्गत कक्षा 1 व 2 के बच्चों द्वारा “कथा जगत में सैर-सपाटा” के अंतर्गत कथावाचन प्रतियोगिता में सदन स्तर पर प्रतिभागिता करते हुए हिन्दी भाषा के प्रति भरपूर उत्साह प्रकट किया गया।
कक्षा 3 से 5 के विद्यार्थियों ने भारतीय उत्पाद का महत्व साझा करने हेतु अंतर सदन विज्ञापन प्रतियोगिता में बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया। इस प्रतियोगिता का विषय था ‘देश को जगाना है, भारतीय उत्पाद का महत्व समझाना है।‘ इन नवोदित विज्ञापन कलाकारों ने अद्वितीय विचारों और भावों को मंच पर उड़ेल दिया और अपनी मातृभाषा को आत्मसात करते हुए स्वदेशी भारतीय उत्पादों के महत्व को समझा और अन्य को भी समझाया।

The day commenced with a soul-stirring rendition of "Tu Pyar Ka Sagar Hai," filling the air with devotion. This was followed by a poignant tribute to the great Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday we celebrate as Teachers' Day. Our Sports Captain delivered an inspiring speech, reminding us of the profound impact teachers have on our lives.
The little stars of classes I to III lit up the stage with a rhythmic group medley dance "Tu Jo Mila", while every student bestowed their beloved teachers with titles, accompanied by heartfelt cards and roses. The highlight of the day was the mesmerizing group dance by classes IV and V, depicting the significance of teachers in our lives with the words, 'Guru Bramha Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara.'
Ms. Jyotsna Mishra's heartfelt speech underscored the dedication of our teachers in shaping the future of our nation. She urged them to be creative and find joy in their work, for one happy teacher can make 40 students' faces blossom with smiles every day.

Class I explored tradition with "Crafting Shagun Envelopes Activity as Tokens of Sibling Affection for Rakhi," while Class II added a personal touch with "Crafting Love: Rakhi Gift Making Activity." Even our youngest from Nursery participated in the Ball Collection race. KG boys showcased sportsmanship during the Lemon race, and Classes I and II displayed Mass Yoga's serenity. Classes III to IV brought excitement with the Inter-House relay race, followed by honoring the Inter-Branch Table Tennis Championship for Girls. The day concluded with a House-wise group photo shoot, etching this memorable day in our hearts forever.

To take a short glimpse on the same and to make the students aware about its Lucknow Public School organized a quiz –Quest Enigma on 10/08/23 to provide a platform to the students to explore a nation which is a land of spiritually and have a glorified history. Seven branches of LPS participated in the competition in preliminary round (phase -I), in which four were selected for the Phase –II round and the results were-Ahiyaraipur Raibareilly stood First, LPS –Sector I grab the second position, LPS Unnao stood Third and consolation to LPS Sector D. The Quiz completion was a great success and definitely it will have encouraged students to participate in more such competition in future.

Badminton is a much-admired sport which requires strength, endurance, as well as mental capabilities leading to self-discipline and healthy lifestyle. To provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their skills & inculcate into them spirit of sportsmanship, Lucknow Public School organized an Inter-Branch Badminton Championship on 29th & 30th July at Shri C.P Singh Memorial Auditorium. The entire LPS family consisting of nine branches participated enthusiastically for the primary, junior & senior category. The match began with a lot of enthusiasm displayed not only by the players but also by the spectators. The result of tournament is as follows:
LPS, Sec I branch bagged winners title followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D branch in the Junior Category for Boys. While on the other hand, LPS, Sec D branch emerged as a winner followed by LPS, Jankipuram and LPS, Sec I in the Junior Category for Girls. LPS, Raebareli won the match followed by LPS, South City & LPS, Sec D in the Senior Category for Boys. However, LPS, Raebareli retained the first position again for the Senior Category for Girls followed by LPS, Eldeco & LPS, Jankipuram respectively. The certificates were presented to all the winners & the tournament was quite a learning experience for all the participating teams. The fun-filled day was a true treat to the eyes of all Badminton fans present there.

On 21st July 2023, a delightful and colorful "Bindi Sticking Activity" was organized for the Nursery and KG students. The objective was to engage young minds in a creative and fun-filled exercise, enhancing their fine motor skills and creativity.
